Descrição da função

• Growing market with strong development expectations
• Anticipating environment changes, identifying potential projects and coordinating actions of multiple people (both external and internal) involved in each contract within the agreed timeframe.
• Based at the Head Office but spending half of his time on the field.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a strong relational network among economic players.
• Skilled negotiator creating value (fuel, shop, catering and services) for both existing sites and new projects
• Project leader coordinating the development efforts for the retail network business
• Ensuring the medium-term continuity of the retail business and optimal profitability of the assets.

• Analyze the market to identify development opportunities : plot prospection, feasibility studies and negotiations
• Analyze existing site performance and surplus properties to submit recommendations
• Define the retail development strategy within the framework of the annual investment policy guidelines
• Manage the deployment of projects and perform the return of experience as a virtuous cycle

• Conduct market analyses (main towns and axes) to assess potential areas for development opportunities : mapping, market evolution, historic figures (fuel, SFS), on-site visits, SWOT analyses
• Check the consistency of the network coverage
• Complete annual segmentation analysis of the existing network and identify portfolio strategy for each site (invest, maintain, divest, close)
• Investigate potential development projects (road network, highways, town planning etc.), identify new plots to develop and respond to possible calls for tender from the authorities
• Conduct prospection of existing dealer-owned sites and make recommendations to the Network Manager for partnership & acquisition targets
• Responds to possible calls for tender from the authorities to develop
• Make sure that the respect of HSE standards and local regulation is a pre-requisite to any investment file
• Carry out preliminary studies and determines the potential (volumes, turnover, other activities)
• Undertake external negotiations (local authorities, public services, lessors, owners)
• Explore the different way to invest (partnerships, business model)
• Provide the specification needs to the technical and engineering teams in charge of costing evaluation
• Assess the project profitability with adequate tools and submit investment files for approval
• Provide management with a prioritized program of investments aligned with strategy’s objectives
• Coordinate the authorization process (permit, license, …)
• Define the works planning with construction teams and attend regular construction meetings on site
• Perform safety visits on sites to ensure compliance with HSQE policy
• Organize and coordinate the commercial acceptance of reconstruction and modernization projects
• Carry out the post-investment follow-up of the projects
• Provide feedback on projects by reporting its observations, analyses and conclusions
• Analyze contribution for each site and make recommendations to improve its performance
• Participate to investment program definition and prioritization
• Renegotiate leasing terms for operational sites
• Arbitrate between sales and maintenance teams and prioritize investment decisions for operational sites

Aptidões necessárias

• University degree (marketing, business or engineering) or equivalent with a financial sensitivity
• 3-5 years experience in Sales or Marketing in the Retail or Petroleum Industry or related functions

• Strong team player with people skills, negotiation skills, good verbal and written communication skills
• Cross-functional management and ability to on-board teams with different profiles and aptitudes
• Initiative spirit, tenacity, anticipation, ease of communication, well organized and scheduling skills
• Portuguese fluent and English, good knowledge of Microsoft Office, skilled in methods to assess project profitability
